No one has said camera logs BB . ANPR logs number plates. Which are linked to BB. Which is why BBH now have to register vehicles. Which is how it removes our rights as blue badge is registered to person not vehicle so before LTN we could use any vehicle w/o restrictions🤷‍♀️😬🤯.

I imagine the database includes info of BB linked to numberplate of registered vehicles. It’s not that complicated. BC just wants to deflect from fact that LTN’s make disabled ppl, esp those who can’t cycle or walk , daily essential journeys harder 😬#EcoAbleism #EcoExclusion.

Imagine them openly saying this to other groups who are discriminated against everyday. Imagine them saying that ppl need to suck up more racism or sexism for ‘greater good’. But that’s what they’re saying to us! That we need to accept more Ableism cos it’s been greenwashed😳.

The arrogance of assuming that because more privilieged& non disabled folks lives improve then that negates impact on less privileged suns up the entities attitude if soeho now telling disabled BBH that we need to suck up worsening journeys for others benefit 😳#EcoAbleism.

What’s interesting is in all mtgs & discussions with cycling/ eco orgs that led to LTN’s no one considered impacts on BBH or keyworkers & even now LTN’s implemented they seem to want to ignore disabled voices & socially unjust impacts they wont admit are happening 🤷‍♀️#EcoAbleism.

If auto fines can be produced by ANPR cameras then same tech can be used to auto exempt BBH cars. Ofc we’d still have to log number plates which adds admin we didn’t have before LTN & some BBH won’t be able to do this as easily & we’d also need to log multiple cars 😳#EcoAbleism.

Ofc BBH can also be POC, LGBTQ+, refugees, religious minorities, pregnant women & have multiple protected characteristics in law. All of that swept aside by ppl who say they want to ‘improve our streets’ while ignoring the reality for those of us who are negatively impacted 🤷‍♀️.

I wonder if BC & others who’ve recently defended restricting choice & removing rights from disabled BBH would so openly support reducing rights given to other groups such as POC, LGBTQ+ etc It seems so if they happy to do so to BBH 🤷‍♀️#EcoAbleism.
