Some use of technology had been helpful but some family find it more distressing.

Calling the humanities & arts. Healthcare is about comforting & care as well as cure. How do we comfort thru PPE & limiting exposure? We need new ways to share our humanity with our patients who are scared & isolated @GiskinDay @doctorkayleigh @morley_georgina @IMEweb @jamesfm55

Nice that everyone back home applauded NHS workers but can everyone in the future just support tax increases, a government that actually funds the NHS, pay nurses what they deserve, enable nurses to take breaks, paid study leave, under&post grad bursaries & safe staffing levels.

Please join this NHS COVID research to help understand who is most at risk and where the hot spots are so we can focus resources and save more lives.

I suspect many folks, when they see this, will be adding Britannia Hotels to the list of businesses they will not be frequenting when this crisis is over.

@Amandaepps123 Used to skip injecting at lunchtime a lot at school. Don't know the patient, but for me it was more of a choice than actually forgetting. Reasons: couldn't see the harm/benefit, wanted to play football, found injecting an inconvenience.

On 24 Jan @Imperial_SoM Med students will take ideas from our Diabetes #LanguageMatters co-production workshop and design infographics to promote Language Matters amongst Med students and health professionals.
