Air fryers are the new cool thing to have in your kitchen, but you'd be surprised to learn that even these have tracking in them for some reason. Some smart fryers come with fancy apps but really it's just a ploy to gather as much of your data as possible, even when making fries

Visually great, functionally great, didn't require a Microsoft account to use, didn't serve you ads, didn't steal your data. Windows 7 was peak. We miss you dearly. 😒

God forbid I want to peruse the web and look at stuff myself, instead of letting a soulless chatbox suck up 500 gallons of freshwater and cause a brownout in a rural Ohio town, all to pick a shitty couch for my living room.

Why do we browse like this? All of this scrolling, clicking, hunting, when you could just... ask? Also, your privacy isn’t an afterthought - it’s built right in. See it tomorrow at 9 am PT.

Uhh hello?? Someone asked us for a @Lovense integration? FOR A VPN APP?? πŸ˜‚ Ok but...if you know anything about our CEO then you know he won't hesitate to put this on the board for the devs... so please put any and all ideas for a Windscribe Lovense integration in the replies.

And from a privacy standpoint, the less they have the better. We could have given our users cloud storage and a password manager too, these aren't that hard to build. But we don't want your data.

Centralization of services like this is terrible. Imagine if a company like Google deems you "misused" one of the services and bans the whole account. There go your files, notes, photos, calendars, contacts, etc.

Ah yes, instead of one company holding all your data, give it all to another company. Privacy companies are creating all these centralized ecosystems to store your data, your files, your passwords, etc, but the more data you give them, the more at risk you are. It's that simple.

Both real issues from this week's Windows update if you didn't hear. A perfect way to celebrate Windows 10 End of Life. Multi-TRILLION dollar company btw https://t.co/aRSpF2fkwO

Wouldn't be surprised if turning this on somehow breaks localhost and prevents you from using keyboard and mouse in Windows recovery mode. And also makes your dog pee on the carpet. Thanks Microsoft!

On today's episode of Speedtest Smackdowns, we compared @NordVPN against Windscribe's Free VPN servers in the same location. We won. And the best part is the speed test was done by Surfshark (which is owned by NordVPN). πŸ’…

It shouldn't come as a surprise but yes, your smart TV can track you. And not just seeing what apps you use, they scan everything, as often as every 10ms to see what you're watching. And of course phoning home to feed your advertising profile.

Hey look, it's @surfshark hiding a reply showing that even our free VPN servers beat their best 100Gbps one. What are you so afraid of? Let people see the truth πŸ‘€

Surfshark announced 100Gbps servers. That's cute, but don't let their "big number key jingling" strat fool you, it doesn't mean your speeds will be better. As an example, we tested our FREE VPN server at the same datacenter as their 100Gbps one, the results speak for themselves.

We're going to start doing more speed comparisons with other VPNs to see who comes out on top. What VPN service do you want us to test?

10Gbps was the old standard. We’re setting the new one at 100Gbps with our Amsterdam server β€” 10Γ— the capacity, 10Γ— the tech power. Built for the internet of tomorrow and ready to handle whatever comes next.
