This is my story, a thread. My name is Wilsen, I’m from Indonesia. I work as a cook in real life, doing a 4am-4pm job while grinding hard here in Solana. As a huge fans of My Chemical Romance, i add ‘Way’ to my name, and use it as my artist nickname.

People from the slums are kind, honest and show me to respect and grateful of my own life. They have thousand of stories, with their own way to solve problems. By knowing them day by day, i learn to have connection with people, emotional connection are powerful.

NFT is my way out, it is natural that I find this space as my home, i always have that dream to do arts and make a living from it, i didn't have a chance to make it irl, that's how I ended up as a cook. So i took it seriously, even though i struggled to jiggle between both jobs

I come from a poor family when i was a kid, i cant have my own toys and buy as many toys as i want to. So deep down in my heart, i really want to make my own things, and that’s the reason i made my Bears Collection (Charlie and Marco). It took some times to make it happen.

I face my own fears, bringing my own trauma on my recent paintings. I have a trauma with deep water, it’s because i drowned so many times when i was a kid, it haunts me until now, i cant do snorkeling, afraid of water sports and cant fix it.
