Vale Dame Steve Shirley CH. ❤️ .Dame Shirley was an inspiration in so many ways, a tireless advocate for families & chn with autism and generously offered every aspect of her life from childhood to aged adulthood, for the growth, benefit & enjoyment of all. ❤️💛❤️.
We are so sad to share that Dame Stephanie “Steve” Shirley CH has passed away aged 91. Child refugee turned tech pioneer, philanthropist & autism advocate, she founded an all woman software company & changed countless lives. Her light will never fade.

Great to see on Insiders the proposal for the UN peacekeepers to assume control in Gaza. A new state needs to be democratically created. Terrorism and genocide must be brought to an end & all perpetrators brought to justice in The Hague. Great to see Western govts moving on this.

Very true 4 severely mentally ill people abandoned at a time when they MOST need care,support,a meal,a roof over their head Shame on us! Shame on our politicians! We are only as healthy as the sickest in society speaks 2 the many levels/layers constituting a society sparse on MHC.
This is normal for severely mentally ill people. Way too many homeless, in prison or in dire poverty due to the failures of State government policies since the 1990s. Viz 4 Corners last Monday on NSW and our recent Vic Royal Commission A national shame as @Mark_Butler_MP said.

Hopefully the Victorian government will step-up to the MH problem enough to make a worthy impact for the sake of many families suffering under the load re lack in timely/quality resources, accessibility, waiting lists, depleted MH workforce & lack of comprehensive MH provision.
Just heard today that Denmark is increasing MH spending by 30%. Wonder what Victoria will decide to do today @JaclynSymes @IngridStitt @JacintaAllanMP.
