UPDATE 2024: Our 2 sqkm neighbourhood absorbed 518 new residential units/yr for the past 5 yrs with ~5500 units in the pipeline & @CityOfVictoria has failed to provide any community amenities other than 2 public toilets. Zero investments in #livability for highest density living.
UPDATE 2023: With +430 new residential units/yr for the past 10 yrs & +4200 units in the hopper #Downtown, the only community amenity the @CityOfVictoria has invested in is 2 public toilets to deal w problematic public urination after late night bars close. SMDH #yyj @VictoriaDRA

I used to walk my Downtown neighbourhood almost daily. Stop & shop local. Left my car parked in my secure off street parking spot majority of the time, till the City allowed & denied the public safety crisis starting 2020. “You live Downtown, what do you expect?” 🙄🤮
