Welcome to BC, Prime Minister @MarkJCarney 🇨🇦 British Columbians are no strangers to hard work. We look out for each other, it’s who we are as Canadians 🍁. So when our sovereignty is questioned we roll up our sleeves, we come together & get to work. #TeamCanada Elbows Up.

No matter our differences, we can all agree that political violence, especially the targeting of the home of an elected official, has no place in our province.

Last night at approximately 10 PM several vehicles and individuals approached my home and rocks were thrown at my home and vehicle. Police were called and investigated. While the motive or perpetrators remains unknown to me, this is very distressing in light of recent events.

Let’s be clear. These tariffs on our lumber have NOTHING to do with national security.  They’re an economic assault targeting BC families. There are other countries that want BC lumber, and together we will diversify and build a strong future for BC’s forestry workers.

Denying the horrific realities of residential schools is perpetuating anti-Indigenous sentiment. BC Conservative MLAs need to stand up, denounce this and continue holding people just like Dallas Brodie accountable. @McInnis_4MLA @WardStamer @PeterMilobar @MLABrennanDay

I’m troubled by these reports. There is absolutely no excuse for this, and I hope the workers are safe and feeling okay. I hope whoever did this is caught and faces consequences.

Heading to Kamloops this morning to celebrate the expansion of the Highland Valley Copper mine. This is a project of national significance that is going to provide thousands of well-paying jobs for British Columbians as our province becomes the economic engine of Canada.

Disgusted by the political violence yesterday in the States. I may not agree with someone’s views but they 💯 have the right to speak them, safely. Politics should include debate and discourse not guns and fear.

This weekend, we celebrate the workers who built this province and continue to make it the place we all know and love. The Labour movement has won the rights we all enjoy today and is still fighting for workers every day. Happy Labour Day!

BC will be the engine of Canada’s new economy - powered by clean energy and in partnership with First Nations. Yesterday, Trump said windmills are “killing us” and that he won’t let any new windmills be built in the US. To clean energy producers in America – come to BC.

This is lunacy. Transportation Critic @HarmanBhanguBC says the BC Conservatives would make cuts by stopping infrastructure projects that are already underway - starting with the Pattullo Bridge, which is almost complete. 1/3🧵

From forestry workers in BC to small business owners in Washington State, Trump’s actions hurt workers and families on both sides of the border.  Thank you, Senator @PattyMurray, for joining me today in standing against these tariff threats. We’re better when we work together.

British Columbia has reached a trade agreement with Ontario. This will make it easier for people to work in both provinces, provide producers easier access to markets, while giving consumers more choice.
