Today is the one year anniversary of @kohiart. A year ago, we set out to see how far a simple idea could go: is it possible to create long-form generative art using only Ethereum to render the output? A year later, here's where we are and where we're headed.

Marketing is always going to land wrong, to those in the know. Have you ever seen a guitar solo in a movie? That's the level of miss that you're trying to hold to an impossibly high standard. There are bigger challenges in this space, that we need you for.

The moment you switch from a playful, creative mentality, to trying to protect your creative outputs against theoretical foes, you've stopped creating, and you're no longer having fun.

If you're on the team that wants to silo improvements or play the "historical NFT" game, you're going to have a bad time. So if possible, can all the people working in this space lighten up, share code, and let some projects win while others fail, even if you're the one failing.

The end goal is that all of these iterative improvements are in service to one goal, which is to correct the gap between buying a receipt and buying the thing the receipt points to. This will all quickly become "the way", open sourced, and orthogonal to the work itself.
