Haven't seen much discussion, but i feel like anyone that wants a DOA7 is severely misguided. The conflict between Itagaki and Team Ninja's vision for doa's future remains unresolved & we won't get another good doa like 2-4 without a major refresh of design philosophy for this

i'm crushed. my heart is heavy. tomonobu itagaki, the father of dead or alive and ninja gaiden, the man who shaped my childhood, influenced 2000s culture, and brought joy to millions of others, is gone. he was the most censored japanese man in the west. just for being himself.
It’s hard to believe, but Itagaki-san…my senior from university and my rival as a creator has passed away. The last message I ever received from him was, “Let’s go drinking. Let’s make some noise soon!” To think that he’s gone at just 58 years old… Yes, everyone dies
