A bigger shortcoming is that the english language does not have words for grandmother and grandfather on different sides. In Sweden we say "father father", "father mother", "mother mother" and "mother father".
The fact that “bi-weekly” can mean either that something happens EVERY OTHER week or TWICE A WEEK is a major shortcoming of the English language and aught to be accounted for.
