The the most impressive thing abt UK football recruiting is our ability to identify talent early/be one of the 1st to give an athlete attention. W/ another great record this yr, that ability will lead to a bigger payoff. We will beat 1 of the top dogs for a 4/5 star recruit.

Since Gran has arrived at UK, our rec is 27-18. And 2 of those 4 yr he played w/ a backup. Only 1 yr he had the returning starting QB play the entire yr. That's pretty DAMN impressive. Hinshaw is thrown in this credit chain too.

I don't mind fans being disappointed, upset, etc... after a tough loss. I highly dislike the fans that are waiting for a bad loss to pump there negative agenda. This program is at a place we could only dream abt. Now it's a reality. Also remember these are 18-22 yo kids.

Playing time is a privilege not a right. You earn that privilege by what you do in practice. Injuries, lack of focus in the meeting rm, lack of energy and effort in practice, etc... can affect that privilege. So if a player doesn't play it's probably bc of what I listed above.

We are underselling how much the 24 second clock is affecting style of play. Many complain about Cal's "archaic" system, but the college rules are the real issue. The women's game is ahead of the curve. Need to go to 4 quarters and shorter shot clock PERIODT.
