There could absolutely be some truth to $NVDA and $AMD paying USG 15% of revenue on H20s and MI308. If you look at the deals Lutnick and Bessent have been cutting on tariffs, there have been elements of shared success baked in. The Japan tariff plan has this. And then there’s $MP

Why the “Apple or Qualcomm +PLUS+ AMD or NVIDIA”? . Easy. Apple and Qualcomm hate each other and have nearly 100% overlap across phone, tablet and PC. AMD and NVIDIA hate each other. Ironically, both companies used to be congenial partners.

To spin Intel Foundry now, you could have:.1/ Big (>50%) sovereign fund investment with USG oversight on board decisions regarding national security.2/ Anchor tenants that span highest performance/power and lower power digital. We need big CPU/GPU/ASIC and smaller, more efficient.

$INTC Foundry will wind up being spun off to become U.S. Foundry with controlled U.S. IP. Not what I had hoped for but that is my prediction at this point.

Modi is playing a good game here. Get a coalition aligned against the US on trade, with India-Russia-Brazil. Interestingly, he’s re-arming his country for a potential war with China. Does he want Russian planes and weapons, or does he want US ones? Someday, maybe 10 years from.
