Great article. At a time when the benefits of online learning are being touted this provides us with a poignant reminder that studying/teaching “online isn’t everyone’s ideal choice”.

Just watched somebody try to get through the contactless train gate by tapping their home printed ticket. It wasn’t even the barcode, but the blank side. A good reminder that technological knowledge isn’t evenly distributed and even the most common UIs will still confuse people.
