The backend for the new Vocaroo is complete, and the front end is in progress. The accursed Flash Player will be vanquished once and for all, and Vocaroo shall rise again!
Every year or so a new simple, login-free audio recording service pops up. And what happens eventually? They either go login-only, or they disappear.
Vocaroo: just doing the same old thing since 2007... 🤷 🫡

⚠️ ALERT ⚠️
We are having DNS issues again this morning, we are investigating and in contact with our registrar to restore the B2 Cloud Storage service. It appears that this is related to content being hosted in B2 that had already been taken down. Updates in this thread.

Hello! Audio is currently kept for around 6 months, although this may be adjusted in the future, depending on changing costs and usage patterns. Frequently accessed audio will be kept for even longer, perhaps indefinitely.
@Librosalaula
Hello, for the past year it was a minimum of 6 months, although this has now been increased further. (And regularly accessed recordings can remain indefinitely)
