What an amazing week it's been in Galway. I'm now off to Dublin to work with another group of European teachers on using AI across the curriculum, but first I need to get my washing and ironing done too of course!

It has been a truly wonderful week of connections, giggles and massive learning! I am so proud of what these educators have achieved and I'm grateful to @LfeeEurope for this opportunity. Next stop: Valencia in October for DIPS! Now back to Dublin tomorrow!.

Saturday showcase: I was absolutely blown away! The eBook presentations were extraordinary, practical, innovative resources showing deep engagement with AI tools. Delegates called it their "favourite activity" because they "had to use all our new knowledge".

Friday afternoon: The AI-Enhanced eBook challenge! 2.5 hours to integrate some of the week's tools. Delegates could choose to make lesson plans or how-to guides combining everything they'd learnt. The focus was incredible. Everyone was in the zone!.

Friday: We looked at Turboscribe for creating transcripts for accessibility and generating worksheets based on a YouTube clip as well as Diffit for differentiated texts from various sources. But the afternoon was all about the big project. .

Thursday: Collaborative learning with Padlet's AI Recipes and Custom Board options. I showed how to generate shared resources for phonics plus listening and speaking skills with peer feedback.

Speaking practice got exciting with Mizou chatbots for real-life conversation simulation and Google AI Studio for creating voiced dialogues from ChatGPT scripts. Language learning will never be the same!.

Google Earth Projects with ChatGPT-generated KML files opened up new possibilities for project-based learning. Delegates created interactive maps that told stories and incorporated them into their eBooks.

Wednesday: Assessment and feedback day! We explored the Brisk Teaching Chrome extension for streamlining assessment and generating Google Quizzes from YouTube clips. I demonstrated my MS Quiz generator prompt for Microsoft Forms which produces similar results.

But the real star? Suno! Delegates loved creating AI songs from custom ChatGPT generated lyrics and many included them in their final showcase presentations.

Tuesday Part 2: Book Creator magic! I created a narrated photo story with multimedia. I showed how to add speech bubbles to character dialogues with volunteer voice recordings. This brought the dialogue to life! I also covered AutoDraw for professional clipart from sketches.

The Legofy tool was a massive hit! Delegates uploaded photos and converted them to Lego-style versions using Google Gemini's Canvas feature. The transformation effect had everyone amazed. Sometimes the simplest tools create the biggest smiles.

Tuesday Part 1: Visual content with AI! I started with Padlet's AI image generator. Delegates created their "happy places" then I imported the results into Wheel of Names for interactive tasks. I showed Ideogram for accurate text spelling in images too. Simple but powerful.

Monday: We kicked off with ChatGPT fundamentals - lesson planning, worksheets, presentations using the PREPARE Framework and my Google Docs prompt builder. Delegates mastered rubric creation and targeted feedback. Daily Padlet reflections showed immediate impact.
