Every year, our 3,000 brilliant staff look after around 60,000 people from across Greater Manchester and beyond. We asked some of those people to be in a new video about our hospital and the treatment and care we deliver. Here's what they had to say. 👇

Yesterday it hit the news that in Nottingham we're currently not able to deliver a full chemotherapy service. This is my personal reflection on what it's like to work as an oncologist at the moment. Nottingham is not alone in this.

One of the emotions I struggle with most as an oncologist is guilt In trying to help, I still do harm, and cannot always discern therapeutic benefit So these beyond-gracious words from a patient’s widow are a balm to my queasy conscience Sometimes I wonder who’s treating whom

The whole #oncology workforce have performed miracles to keep cancer care going throughout the pandemic, but years of under-investment in staff will mean we cannot just keep going at this pace. All staff groups need more numbers - now. But we also need to change how we work

Our 2020 UK #oncology census, released today, reflects a workforce that has persevered and adapted through #COVID19 but is still hugely understaffed. Right now, the NHS needs at least 189 more clinical oncology consultants. Find out more👉 https://t.co/jIOOcFBVRb
