Have we reached the plateau of wind power generation cost decline in major European wind power markets?. According to @IRENA, the cost of wind LCOE came rapidly down until 2019 after which the average cost has not declined but increased 17% (2020-2024).

Seems like he has not paid attention what’s happening. LFP batteries have gone from being too heavy, bulky and only storage to withstand 3000-5000 cycles, charge at 500 kW, and power +3000 hp hyper vehicles. We are not done with lithium. This is the beginning.

Feels like this message of tough challenge comes not out of choice but necessity, and I believe it. There comes a point in most of the technology adaptations when the wave of progress cannot be mitigated anymore. We're not far away from it.

If I were a clean hydrogen developer, I would take take a closer look at these signals from the market. Here we have Vattenfall, 100% Swedish state owned company, withdrawing from subsidy negotiations. Market does not work.

Understanding the basic laws of thermodynamics should be similar prerequisite for people working with energy than emphaty is for doctors and nurses. If you don’t understans what they mean, you should look for marketing position instead.

@visaskn yes you could apply at the Amsterdam website, and tell them when you needed to charge, and they'd measure plug usage nearby (recent history, half year I believe). since a couple of years they're adding predicted plugs to all of the city, without people going EV first.

PLS PIlgangoora hard-rock lithium mine resource estimate has increased with 0,44 Mt of lithium capable of empowering more than 60 million EVs = all the EVs manufactured to date. Just like that. One mine in Australia. We are not running out of lithium.
