I'm really gratefrul to Katie for sharing our story of sisterhood. Violent men, like my ex-husband, so often use divide & conquer tactics to maintain their abuse. We fought against that and he is now in prison. ✊🏼💪🏽💗
Today in @thetimes, I spoke to the inspiring Natalie Collins: “I knew my ex-husband was a rapist, so I helped his new wife convict him” https://t.co/jomn4q6WBk

We are deeply concerned that reports name harassment, not stalking. #Stalking is repeated, fixated, obsessive & unwanted behaviour that cause alarm & distress. Failure to recognise the severity of stalking can be devastating for the victim. https://t.co/vBcfGJ5KFL

Deeply concerning stuff coming from Tories. Along with this, just today ministerial lies about a 'meat tax' and conspiracy theories about enforced '15 minute cities'. It's desperate, depressing and dangerous.

Worse with every day that passes...
Exclusive: Rishi Sunak expected to set out a 'Plan for Motorists' on Monday that would limit councils' powers in areas including 20mph speed limits, bus lanes, and enforcing road infractions with number plate-recognising cameras. https://t.co/5fSbob3bQP

Opera North and Phoenix Dance Theatre present an epic, heart-rending journey of the soul. A contemporary dance staging of Mozart’s great choral lament, choreographed by Dane Hurst.
Was so fortunate to see the final show yesterday. What an wonderful, innovative, creative project. Loved the soloists engaging with the dancers, & the choir's movement. Very excited it's been filmed for TV.

Enjoying the Sidekick Simon vibes here @AccidentalP
In local news, police were alerted to a “mass killing”, only for for it to be people lying down in a yoga class

The desperately sad thing is there's little to no hope that things will get any better. Everything we hear from both major parties is utterly depressing. It feels like there's a blithe acceptance that poor people will and probably should remain poor and that's just a fact of life
Depressing but not remotely surprising. "It may be harder now than at any point in over half a century to move up if you are born in a position of disadvantage"

Really does make those early statements minimising & distancing allegations seem so rotten. Genuinely questionable whether things would have reached this point / scale without the immense bravery of those who came forward & external pressure from those who wouldn't let it drop.

Powerful and honest. And very well delivered by Jamie Darroch 👏 👏 👏
Earlier this year, Clydebank defender Jamie Darroch’s life was directly impacted by suicide. This World Suicide Prevention Week, JD opens up on his experience in the hope other families don’t have to go through something similar. This is his story.

What a mess. Groundbreaking AI was "just a bunch of Excel spreadsheets with some decision trees written by junior doctors".

This is as good and as heartbreaking as everyone is saying. And there are hundreds of schools like this around the country. When I say that schools have become the provider of last resort + that we have a crisis of vulnerable children this is what I mean.
A year ago, I started following how the cost of living crisis was playing out at an Oldham school, checking in with the fantastic @NewmanRC_Head every few weeks. I ended up learning a lot about the British state, and its education system, to boot. https://t.co/4SMEa6J6lH

If you could all share this both I and the family will appreciate it 🙏🏽 they cannot continue to live here. I’ll be writing to the council. I’m sure they’ll see this as it’s not the first time I’ve had to highlight shocking cases damp & mould in Islington.
Islington Council 🚨- By far the worst home I’ve been in this year. The resident and family have lived here for 5 years with damp and mould. The tenant says they’ve developed health issues as a result. This is a child’s bedroom:

Fun new game at home. Is that rustling noise outside: a) a fox? b) a guy* stealing gravel by hastily shoving handfuls into a carrier bag & scuttling off down the road? A mix, so far 🙃 *Not the same guy stealing Kwik Fit's gravel the same way. Maybe it's an initiation ceremony
