I am a doc! 🥳 Thank you so much to my amazing supervisors Adam Lopez and @tetraduzione who guided me and supported me tirelessly through the PhD!
Congrats to Dr. @andreasgrv who just defended his #PhD thesis on unargmaxability and constraints in deep learning, examined by Vlad Niculae and @driainmurray 🎉 A pity you could not (yet) see Andreas' beautifully designed thesis! In the meantime, some pics from the pre-viva 👇

📢Don't waste your last and only chance to submit an abstract to MT Marathon ( https://t.co/O4AcLnJdLs) 🏃! It would be a real shame if you're there with nothing to present, now wouldn't it? 😢

The @EdYoungWalkers returned to Tiree this weekend despite the ferry cancellations. Great to see them keen to tackle some more beach cleaning & we also did a shoreline survey where we found a Red Hamburger Seabean. Thanks for all your efforts folks! @SCRAOnline @NatureScot

So proud to announce that No Language Left Behind (NLLB) has officially been published by @Nature—this was years of hard work from a really dedicated group of researchers. I'm also so honored to be a part of the editorial team for this one. LET'S GO TEAM!

Nature - Scaling neural machine translation to 200 languages is achieved by No Language Left Behind, a single massively multilingual model that leverages transfer learning across languages.
