There is still a requirement to know how to break complex tasks into smaller ones, I call it prompt modularity
A few software engineers at some of the best tech cos told me this week "My entire job these days is prompting Cursor or Claude Code with Opus 4.5 to do what I need and sanity checking it." We've crossed some intangible threshold of AI generalizing to "most" software.

People are oblivious to fact for what’s actually happening. 1. The reality is junior developers can learn and upskill to be senior developers very quickly. 2. There is more demand for software components, bridging interface applications as they reduce friction for LLMs and

So we had different clubs in our college, one for coding, other for robotics, other for mechanical projects. I was leading entrepreneurship club and every time I pitched an idea to the faculty, the answer always was that it would conflict with other clubs working! In the end,
What universities should do instead is help students build the foundation of knowledge that startup ideas grow out of. They're good at that. But this is the last thing some dean in charge of "entrepreneurship" wants to hear. He wants to do something about startups!

Founders in trouble are often dismayed by how fast corp dev people can sense their desperation. You'll be less surprised if you remember this is all they *can* sense. They can't judge technology or talent. All they can judge is your eagerness. So of course they're good at it.

A pass from a VC always communicates (in full or subset): "We don't like 1) you 2) building in this market 3) at this time" Many VCs (esp bigger funds) do not need to take risk on 2) and 3) (i.e. market risk). Passing due to market risk (vs founder) is a low-downside way to pass
VC rejection excuses: • No moat • Too much competition • Valuation is too high • TAM is too small • Get a co-founder • Not enough traction • Your retention sucks • You’re too early Translation: I don’t believe you’ll win. Your reaction: Watch me.

I think software needs to move onto 'latest version pricing", where only the latest version / features of the software are priced in and rest are free of cost.

AI has a vocabulary problem. we’re using the same words to talk past each other. and the fog is expensive. -‘AI application’ can be a consumer assistant, a dev tool, a vertical-saas wedge, or an embedded agent inside yesterday’s software. -‘AI infra’ might be raw compute,

Please RT this, it’s not an extraordinary ask honestly
This should be the norm in India the way it is in so many other countries around the world. Keep in mind: it's not just about having a place to ride a bike. It's also the fact that she's able to do it at 2 AM without anyone telling her the park is arbitrarily closed at 8 PM.

In India, a new-age consumer tech company can go from $0 to $100M in 2-3 years. The rails are built. Organic distribution is key. Growth hacking is the alpha skill.

I think the next AI crash would be the first time when the market crashes and demand for sfotware engineers would increase as compared to decrease.
