Grateful for @HRF’s support as I continue working on improving the design and usability of ecash. Private digital cash is essential to maintaining a free society. Privacy protects our dignity, autonomy, and ultimately, democracy itself. Let's get to work.
Ecash allows fast, private payments beyond government surveillance. But complicated interfaces make it hard to use. With HRF’s support, @uxerik_ is making ecash tools like Cashu & Fedimint easier to use, ensuring activists can transact privately, freely & intuitively. 💸📱.

Thank you Lugano, and @planb_network for having us. I’m bullish about what the Plan ₿ team is building. It’s one of the best Bitcoin education efforts there is. It was great seeing the local support from community leaders too. @lombardi1956’s opening speech was great.

During the opening ceremony @lombardi1956 delivered a great point on how Bitcoin’s decentralization lines up with Swiss federalism and made a case for defending direct democracy.

I stand on the shoulders of greater devs. @callebtc and @thesimplekid did the heavy lifting by fleshing out CDK -> Kotlin bindings. Couldn’t have been possible without their efforts.

After lots of re-prompting, troubleshooting, tweaking designs, I got a working wallet prototype. Still some bugs, but it’s live, and it’s pretty functional.

My favorite discovery: Android Studio’s Compose Preview. Seeing components live was a huge productivity unlock. The Kotlin code spit out by Figma x Cursor MCP often needed adjustments. Spacing, borders, etc. but instant visual feedback made fine tuning much faster.

Instead of trying to one-shot entire screens, I took a component-based approach. I exported individual components like buttons, input fields, and balance displays separately. Cursor generated Kotlin code for each component.
