I wrote a blog last session about how the Utah Leg’s tax cuts are leading to increased property taxes ( https://t.co/62avJVmLuf). It’s about education funding and school districts, but the same concept applies to county services. Cutting taxes doesn’t mean needs go away. #utleg

TODAY: The @SLCoMayor will propose her budget to the @SLCo_Council at 10 a.m. which includes a proposed 19.6% property tax increase. Inflationary pressures and rising operational costs for essential services are said to be the reason. It would generate $48.9 mil.
