In light of an ill-considered campaign from our SU to reform Trinity’s sexual misconduct policy (yes, that’s an effigy) I wrote for @universitytimes about why it would be better to abolish Trinity’s “Dignity, Respect, and Consent service” altogether.

🚨A Full Recout Has Been Requested for the Trinity Seanad Election🚨 The 15th count was as follows Aubrey McCarthy 3747 Hazel Chu 3710. The request will be reviewd tomorrow at 9:30am.

The final count is being triple checked before being annoucned. One unoffical tally estimates the difference between the remaining candidates could be as low as 14 votes.

Count 14 is in. Hazel Chu 3163 Aubrey McCarthy 2747 Hugo MacNeill 2476. Hugo MacNeill has been eliminated. We are down to the final count.

Count 13: Distribution of Ossian Smyth's votes. Tom Clonan has been re-elected, and his surplus will be redistributed.

Count 12: Distribution of Lynn Ruane's surplus, Ossian Smyth has been eliminated.

Count 11: Lynn Ruane Elected

Count 10; distribution of Zappone's votes. Sadhbh O'Neill has been eliminated, and Senator Lynn Ruane is expected to be deemed elected on the next count.

Count 9; distribution of De Brún's votes. Katherine Zappone has been eliminated.

Count 8, Laoise de Brún now eliminated
