Anybody who doesn't know the dynamics, history and supposed pretexts of murderous pogroms, in the UK and elsewhere, should be informing themselves, sharpish. Call this what it is.

Remarkable to see the France national team footballers at the Euros speaking out so strongly against the far right.

Le soulagement est à la hauteur de l’inquiétude de ces dernières semaines, il est immense. Félicitations à tous les Français qui se sont mobilisés pour que ce beau pays qu’est la France ne se retrouve pas gouverné par l’extrême droite. 🙏🏾🇫🇷

Sometimes it seems that “Here we go again” would be a more appropriate motto for Leeds United than “Marching on Together” ✍️ @unforgivenrb #TelegraphFootball | #LUFC

For @glorymag_, @admiral1914 and us, 50 Years of the Replica Shirt has been a huge labour of love but one we are very proud to have put into the world. The new exhibition at the @FootballMuseum that we've worked on to coincide with the book launch is the icing on the cake.

These are the teams from the Italia 90 draft. You can vote in the poll below before Friday lunchtime, listen to the pod ( https://t.co/qShhoTFRCu), tell a fellow nostalgiaddict about it so that we can do more of them, and suggest a draft season/tournament/era you'd like to hear.

The sale of my beloved Southend United is of the utmost urgency. Our chairman Ron Martin needs to engage with the buyers and compromise or we will be finished. I'm lead to believe there is a deal on the table. How it has come to this is down to him. @kimuraperform

Matthew Engel writing a shopping list would be worth a read but this tribute to a much-loved colleague is special. If you've read a Guardian sports report in the past 57 (!) years, the chances are that Jeremy Alexander helped make it fit for publication

We don't need any more autopsies of what went wrong for #LUFC. We've all seen it coming, we all know what happened and why. What we need now is news and to hear from Kinnear, Radrizzani and Marathe. They were never backwards at coming forwards during the good times – speak now
