Correcting your misleading facts: The PHPA did not force all ECHL players to go on strike. The Players VOTED to authorize a strike. The PHPA is the legally recognized bargaining unit for all ECHL players. Why doesn’t the ECHL bargain in good faith to end the strike?

The likeliness of injuries is exponentially higher when you play multiple games with a short bench. Especially when you have to play back-to-backs or a three-in-three. The body doesn't have a chance to recover properly.
Strike update: ECHL intends to play as many scheduled games as possible during strike. If 2 scheduled teams can roster a minimum 13 skaters, 2 goalies, games will be played as scheduled. If not, game will be postponed. Expect most if not all games scheduled today to be postponed.

1 - 20% raise is still at most around 23K a year in the ECHL currently. 2 - The Players just want actual rest days and not to have to play 8 hours after 9 hour bus ride home. 3 - All off-season you tried to coherse players to turn their backs on the union.
