This makes my reading list for the week! Plus I have a primer on Fungal Syncytia in this issue, which was super fun to write!!.
Check out this amazing special issue of @CurrentBiology . The editorial from Joe Heitman nicely sets the scene and there are some spectacular reviews from many mycologists. I am glad to have been part of this, including in the 'MyShroom' section!
