Just a tidbit of info in case anyone needs it. If I happen to get banned from Twitter for some reason, I will post something at https://t.co/CDuhILCGVi (currently a parked domain, but I own it).

The scariest part isn’t prices going up. It’s how normalized the stress has become. Everyone’s tense. Everyone’s tired. Everyone’s calculating. That’s an economy running on pressure.

I’m seeing a lot more Zillow listings that I recognize saying to myself “Oh that piece of shit is for sale again. They’ve been trying to sell that thing for over a year and they won’t drop the price enough, they just keep relisting it every few months.” Mostly 70s boomer houses.

you simply can't maintain a system that constantly makes honest decent people feel like they must be idiots for not defrauding their neighbors

"We noticed some people were watching the fireworks without paying so we have spent a vast amount of resources to stop that"
Primrose Hill will be closed on New Year’s Eve this year ⛔There will be fencing, security and a police presence to prevent access. If you had planned to head there to get a view of the central London fireworks, please make alternative arrangements.

When someone says “just move somewhere cheaper,” what they really mean is “start over.” New job. New network. New risks. Same rising costs. That’s not a solution.

Newsom tucks tail and slinks away with nary a whimper. No more federal tax dollars for High Speed Fail.

The state previously sued the Trump administration after it cut $4 billion in funding for the project.

Super efficient crappy appliances and light bulbs were supposed to save us money. Lol.
Utility bills aren’t rising because you touched the thermostat. They’re rising because rates are. State regulators across the country approved increases in 2024 and 2025. Delivery charges. Transmission fees. Riders. You pay even if you conserve. That’s the part no one

Pardon power is a check on the judicial branch if they railroad someone with a kangaroo court non-trial. It’s also a check on the legislative branch making ridiculous laws, resolutions, and bullcrap “hearings” targeting individuals with overblown hoaxes for political gain.
The presidential pardon system is broken. Right now, there are no meaningful checks on the President’s pardon power. That makes it ripe for abuse, and it’s a threat to the rule of law. That’s why I support a constitutional amendment to put commonsense limits in place: no

🇪🇺 EAT ZE BUGS? NOPE! Another blow against the plans of the globalist elites. This time, despite the millions invested, the largest insect farm in Europe, Ÿnsect, has declared itself insolvent and has gone into judicial liquidation! Will they now release billions of insects?

I am getting good at ignoring news that is just pointless noise. I managed to ignore whatever this daycare fraud thing in Minnesota is until today and I still don’t understand what happened.

I was fined three times by two different New York State Departments for incorrectly filing paperwork to pay a nanny legally.
Small businesses and average Americans try to do things the right way, but get nickel and dimed and confronted with red tape. Fraudsters and other criminals just do whatever they want with no repercussions. It’s beyond frustrating and demoralizing.

People aren’t bad with money. They’re stuck inside a math problem that doesn’t balance anymore. You can cut lattes forever. You still can’t out-save rising rent, utilities, and insurance. The gap isn’t behavior. It’s structure.

The message the tech industry communicated is that we need to build data centers to do more AI, and more AI means I (normie) lose my job So data center = lose my job
why do the normies hate data centers so much is there some coordinated CCP-funded TikTok campaign i’m not aware about? or are Zoomers somehow just bringing up studies of data center electricity usage in their Discord chats out of their own curiosity

Well that’s fun. Postal service may have just lost CPUs we ordered at work. They claim it was delivered in our mailbox but it most definitely was not. Now I get to track down $1,000 worth of fancy sand. And of course you can’t even call a human anymore, just stupid machines.

Genuinely once I started using this I went a little insane. Searching for files on windows is SO BAD by default that I thought we had run up against some law of physics. But no, searching for files can just be instantaneous. Microsoft is just evil and stupid.
voidtools Everything is such an excellent piece of software. It's one of the things you use and wonder "why doesn't my computer already work like this"
