The service members aboard Camp Pendleton are an integral part of

and we are grateful for their service. It’s an honor to represent and fight for them in Washington.

I’m holding my next Telephone Town Hall on Wednesday at 5:00pm.
I hope you’ll be able to join me! I look forward to answering your questions, and we’ll also be joined by Max Richtman, a senior advocate who will discuss threats to Social Security.
This week was Police Week on Capitol Hill.
I’m proud to have secured millions in federal funds during my time in Congress to support our local law enforcement with new equipment and other tools necessary to keep our communities safe.
It’s been a busy week in
#CA49
and in D.C. Here’s the latest:

The sand replenishment project in Encinitas and Solana Beach will benefit residents while helping mitigate the impacts of climate change and coastal erosion. Enjoy the sand!
Great meeting with
@AlGore
on tackling the climate crisis and how
@SEEC
can develop policies for a clean energy future.
His work on climate change has made a tremendous impact on our planet. Thank you for your service former VP Gore!
It was great to meet with
@CaliforniaFOP
leadership at this year’s National Peace Officers' Memorial Service.
During
#PoliceWeek
and every week, I’ll work to ensure our peace officers have the resources they need to keep us safe.
Congress can’t address the challenges at the border on a partisan basis. We need bipartisan, pragmatic solutions.
It’s a matter of national security and we must come together to address it.
Every week is

I’m proud to announce that, thanks to government funding I helped secure, Encinitas will start installing a 60-inch pipe to improve storm drainage on the 101!
I’m grateful to Orange County Sheriff’s High Interdiction Team for getting these dangerous drugs off the street.
I’ll continue fighting to give our law enforcement officers the tools they need to help stop fentanyl before it reaches our communities.
🚰I'm proud to announce that I helped secure $577,584 for
@TCWDWater
to upgrade pump stations to enhance pumping capacity and fight drought conditions.

👏I applaud
@FERC
for their most recent ruling to improve our nation’s energy grid.
No transition to a clean energy future is possible without transmission. We still have work to do but this is a good start.
Congratulations to the new
@SanDiegoPD
Chief, Scott Wahl, for being unanimously confirmed by
@SDCityCouncil
yesterday! I look forward to working with him to help make our communities safer and stronger.
Since House Republican leadership refuses to have the bipartisan, good faith negotiations necessary for a border security bill, I joined my colleagues in urging the president to take executive action.
I joined NPR to discuss
@POTUS
’s actions and my recent trip to the border.
🎉 I’m proud to announce that the Encinitas-Solana Beach sand replenishment project is now complete, and just in time for summer!
Now, visitors and residents can enjoy the wider beaches. Don’t forget sunscreen!
As part of
#InfrastructureWeek
, I’m proud to announce that I helped secure $1.2 million for
@southcoastwater
to improve water treatment and distribution infrastructure in our district.
