In a case like Astarion, he didn’t know what he was agreeing to when Cazador saved him, but Wyll is the son of the Duke in a huge city, he can’t be ignorant of the danger he was putting himself in. That makes it easier to pity Astarion in some ways, though he’s a worse person.

Wyll is definitely abused, but I think part of the reason it tends to get glossed over is because he literally made a deal with the devil. At 17, he’s old enough to have the agency to make that decision, foolish though it was.
