Glad to have a story up in @rejectionlit today. What a fitting venue for this story, which received 38+ rejections before Rejection Letters gave it a home. Here's The Phlebotomist's Tale: https://t.co/pAwrqWG4bQ

I moved from Memphis to Knoxville and started working at a clinic, taking blood, much as I had before, except I liked this job better, because for whatever reason, this clinic had younger patients …

The arguments over what is and isn't Country music are so tired. That said, I'm really digging @chaparelle and this POV on where they sit in the genre. https://t.co/zeE45ZSzgd

The only true knowledge is knowing that pollsters know nothing

Being Dead is one of the most unique bands to emerge from Austin’s music scene in years. Why? You're going to have to read to find out. https://t.co/R1w6KtxZF0

The experimental Austin rock band likes to invent bogus backstories. But its new album, ‘Eels,’ is surprisingly real.

Sex with Godzilla! Anxiety about self-worth! Wasted waking days! @tscottray's piece on Being Dead is as playful as the band itself. @TexasMonthly

Wonder what JD thinks about that huge cat on the cover
Boarding the plane for Wisconsin, Usha Vance holds a copy of Daniel Mason’s “North Woods.” On Amazon, it’s described as a “magisterial & highly inventive novel” that “asks the timeless question: How do we live on, even after we’re gone?” (📸: @alexbrandon)

Lol, no. They would have picked Biden. They're really upset.
Major Biden donor John Morgan tells @ABC News he won't fundraise for Harris if she's the nominee "If Trump World could pick anybody to run against, I think they pick her."
