Helping artists catalog their work with @barbellart
Austin, TX
Joined March 2009
I built Barbell to help artists catalog their work. For their own practices, for interested collectors, and to help cohesively document ALL current art. We're creating permanent artifacts that won't get destroyed with time, but they will get lost without cataloging!

Onchain provenance is the holy grail, but it isn't enough if it's the only documentation/link to your art.

“Artists see the future before anyone else does, and they use the tools of their time to hold up a mirror to the rest of the world... It is the computer, it is the internet, it is artificial intelligence, it is algorithms.” @philmohun on @verse_works
I used to think I worked at the cutting edge because I was in tech. But the real cutting edge is art. Even in tech.
