Research by John Gallagher and Laurence Gill @tcddublin commissioned by @AnForamUisce showed that including water efficient showers, taps and toilets in new builds would cost developers approx. €180 yet save the state nearly €10 million in water and wastewater treatment

Nice presentation from Jenny Deacon @EPACatchments showing latest water quality data. Nitrate is a regional issue & phosphate is a local issue;do measures in our Water Action Plan and Nitrates Action Plan reflect this?! How do we fill the gaps in targeted measures? @AnForamUisce

Updated EPA maps show that 4 out of 5 people across the country are worried about water pollution. So take note, all political parties & election candidates, you must have robust solutions in your manifestos & commitments to address water pollution. 🛑💩🗳️ https://t.co/c2cI3nlNmS

The public consultation on the interim review of the Nitrates Action Plan is open until the 4th December. A very short turn around, questioning the real scope of the consultation process! @AnForamUisce
