This issue reiterates why Nigeria needs an effective National Dispute Resolution Chamber or Sports Tribunal. The player could have easily taken up the matter before such a body to recover her medical expenses and claim back deducted salaries + compensation.

Non-payment of salaries is a just cause for the termination of an employment contract. FIFA says that you give a "15-day Default Notice" to the club, terminate the contract, & move on.
