Really excited to share our preprint on #Galvanotaxis! We identify Galvanin, a membrane protein acting as an electric field sensor that guides cell migration. Check it out: https://t.co/ejJ6uyYKMu

https://t.co/e2v9nRlpJ8 I got to talk about our amateur radio seminar on... public radio! Thanks for having me, WESA. Ham radio lives on, and the field day was quite exciting this year (though still cold, in true Pittsburgh April fashion)!

One of the most rewarding things I get to do is run a week-long science storytelling workshop each summer with my friend @eucryphia of @OddSalon and (thanks @NSF and @PrincetonCST!). It's time for Lab Tales #4! Funding for 5 non-Princeton trainees. Apply: https://t.co/geaalZe9QX

Step aside muscle, our new work shows that kidney and intestine tissue can also change shape and function when electrically stimulated (movie)! We call this ‘electroinflation’! Long overdue hurrah for @GawoonS* /IsaacBreinyn*, @almcalvo, Sameeksha. https://t.co/JUlREYfUlK

How awesome that this is out! Although feeling a twinge of disappointment felt that "Pump it up" didn't make it into the final pub's title...
My final project during my PhD is out! We electrically stimulate 3D epithelial structures to inflate like a water balloon. Much thanks to @almcalvo , @Sameeksha Rao, @Isaac Breinyn, and the fearless leader @DJCohenEtAl ! https://t.co/cp3IiT2Xrm

Our signal propagation atlas of C. elegans is now out in @Nature! We measure the network’s response to optogenetic stimulation of each neuron in the head, one at a time-- over 23,000 neuron pairs. Congrats to @francescorandi @aksharma_118 & @DvaliSophie. https://t.co/DshzdEXz4P

Cormac McCarthy died today, June 13, at his home in Santa Fe, NM. Nautilus couldn’t have been more flattered when the great novelist published his first work of nonfiction, “The Kekule Problem,” with us in 2016. https://t.co/ZCNUVXCxyu

Today is the last day of the ham class! We're building measuring tape Yagi-Uda antennas (based on N5DUX's excellent plans). A rite of passage! This was actually the first time I built one... Any tips for getting the reflector to lie flat on the PVC cross piece?
