I don't even know what to do at this point. The owner came over to offer a half-arsed apology and said she'd "replace the bunnies." I told her to go home, we'd talk tomorrow. Still shaking with rage. What if the next time it's not a bunny but one of the toddlers or the baby?!.

It finally happened! Tonight, two of the usual suspects (whose owners we had warned a hundred times) jumped their fence, broke into our yard, managed to somehow get into the rabbit hutch, and killed our daughter's two pet bunnies. Fucking hell, people!.
The standards for what a well-behaved dog acts also fell. We've had some pretty insane dog behavior issues in our suburban neighborhood, and the group chat is full of "we understand even well-behaved dogs escape and bark at night," and I'm like, no, they really don't.

Originality in particular is slowly turning into a strength. The AI can easily overlay the problem area with a survey of past/existing approach and identify novel pathways. Human brains are too easily primed and biased by experience.

I gave gpt5 a somewhat creative task today, and its output was genuinely better (incl more interesting, more original, more sophisticated) than what I think 2-3 mid-level professionals would've been able to brainstorm in a day.
seems like the sentiment on here has turned for the better on gpt5 over the last few weeks.

Slotkin won a state that Harris lost, while Warren and Sanders significantly underperformed the top of the ticket. Popularity is more complex than just top of the ticket comparison, but evidence for the idea that Dems are unpopular because we’re insufficiently left wing is thin.
