If what Miles is saying amounts to "use discernment as to what voices you're listening to" then YES an AMEN. But another reading would be a misrepresentation of the recent history of resourcement and the state of the current debate. The roots of Protestant Resourcement of
1/ Some thoughts on Protestant resourcement, especially regarding political theology. 1. Read responsibly, by writers who work in politics, or in institutions that are adjacent to state actors and actually able to affect government through serious study of historical sources.

Great thread
After listening to @AuronMacintyre & @JoelWBerry on Timcast, the difference between "constitutionalist" conservatives and the new right really boils down to the fact that the new right understands the mechanisms of politics, whereas the constitutional conservatives do not 🧵

Imagine what would happen to a law professor if they wrote a right wing version of this (replacing “democracy” w/monarchy or “autocracy” with Bolshevism, etc), talking abt how to restructure the govt so they never lose again… but that’s the problem, right winger would never

I like this. Attending to the material conditions for the Sabbath to be honored, centering the one day in seven, is important.
"We will never make the most of our Sundays unless we prepare for them on Saturday. That likely means finishing homework, getting to bed on time, and foregoing some football. If church is an afterthought, you won’t think of it until after it’s too late." Kevin DeYoung

The deathbed conversion myth (19th century cath propaganda) has been debunked so many times it’s beyond embarrassing to keep repeating it.
George Washington converted to Rome on his deathbed. Jefferson Davis almost converted as a youth and appealed to Rome for succor during his imprisonment. Conversion to the Church and an end of Protestantism is the destiny of the American Empire.

The illiteracy (ironically) here is tough to fathom but more fundamentally, if you’re hostile to Protestantism you can’t possibly be America First. Sorry.
Nick Fuentes criticizes Protestants for creating thousands of Christian sects by interpreting the Bible on their own “If all we need is the Bible, then which sect is correct? And how do we know, and what happens to everybody else? Are they all going to hell?”

Here are some Reformed theologians using the same language Baxter does. 🧵 Ussher: https://t.co/N7vlbkP3ZC
WCF 11.1 - Of Justification -– "not for ANYTHING wrought in them, OR DONE BY THEM, but for Christ’s sake alone" 👍 Richard Baxter (1691) - “all men shall be judged, by justification or condemnation according to their works, or what they have done” 👎

The Odyssey is going to be terrible but this is based!
Tom Holland called the head of Sony to arrange a 70mm screening of ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ for the cast of ‘The Odyssey’ during production: “We were at Sony, and Tom Rothman has one of the pristine 70-mil prints of that movie. And Tom Holland, because he’s Spider-Man and he’s

My 3 year old likes baseball so the argument to end dual citizenship is stupid because Nicki Haley’s son is 24!!!
I watched @Nalin_Haley's interview with @TuckerCarlson, and it made one thing clear: politics seems simpler the younger we are. My latest for @townhallcom

This is abuse, even by the (oppressive!!!) Puritan standards. Samuel Willard, for example, advised a “gentle discipline,” fitted to the personality of each child, and as a last resort. This below is gratuitous and cruel.
Yes this is obviously abuse. How is this even a question? She’s completely out of control and taking her anger out on her child. It’s the opposite of discipline. You can’t discipline a child by being wildly undisciplined yourself. This is not strength. It’s weakness. If you can’t

Somalis in Minneapolis are stealing billions from American taxpayers, loading bags of cash onto commercial flights, and funding terrorism back in Mogadishu. This is an insane system, and it must be stopped.

EXCLUSIVE: @RK_Thorpe and I have new reporting on America’s Somali fraud rings, which have stolen billions in taxpayer funds—and sent some to Islamist terrorists back home. “The Largest Funder of Al-Shabaab Is the Minnesota Taxpayer.” https://t.co/RDgnKXAnyP

All he’s talking about, Mr four flag “patriot,” is how in older socio-political models leaders fought for and with *their people*. Is that some violation of the American “creed”?
He knows we fought a revolution whose 250th anniversary we are now about to celebrate precisely to get rid of the feudal model, right?
