Apples and oranges. For an accurate assessment, look at what's required to title a car in Delaware. That's equivalent to buying a firearm. Delaware law doesn't require a titled vehicle to be registered, permit, or training. It's a straw man argument, and it fails every time.

The information in your article is incorrect. "without the shooter needing to continually pull the trigger". The shooter must have their finger on the trigger. A firearm with a bump stock can't fire itself without a finger on the trigger and the finger being pulled.

Good clarification. Like with diabetics. If you don't know if it's low or high blood sugar, give sugar. Insulin shock for low blood sugar can kill you. Giving sugar to someone with high blood sugar can be easily corrected at the hospital. If in doubt, give it.

Here in Michigan, if the state hasn't decided on your license within 45 days, the receipt is valid as a license until a license or notice of statutory disqualification is issued by the county clerk.

It's a little warm there. Housing prices are a little high for my budget. I like Jacksonville, however they have a Dem mayor now. Maybe a little more south along the coast. I's rather be by the Atlantic than the Gulf. I like the waves.

Why is Biden losing the Black vote? Sure, it was better under Trump. However, Biden has never had kind words for them.

Michigan statute is very clear. It says the clerk "must" issue the permit unless they have a statutory reason to deny it. Additionally, the clerks are forbidden from requiring any additional information or requirements beyond what the statute requires. They can't make stuff up.

The easiest way to get her to appear is to schedule a motion hearing. Since she is pro se, she'd have to appear. Or the court could require her physical appearance at a motion hearing in case she gets retained counsel at the last minute. If she doesn't appear, motion denied.

It happens in VA hospitals. I worked for the VA for 5 years in the ER. If we could, the employees who were veterans lined the aisle and escorted the body to the morgue for funeral home pick-up. Of course, the hospital is a Veteran's Hospital so to be expected. Glad yours does.

VA loans work because the VA will pay the loan for any defaults. The problem is the state won't pay the balance when the renter defaults. The landlord only gets the partial state amount rather than the whole amount. The landlord wants a renter who pays the whole rent.

Trump has waived his speedy trial demand. That's usually the only thing that concerns the court in a criminal trial. Then, the calendar proceeds as it proceeds. There is no hurry. Counsel is given adequate time on motions, cases are routinely continued, etc.

Even with a Democrat trifecta here in Michigan, 18-20 year old adults can still buy long guns. They can't do that in Florida. You can thank Rick Scott for that one. They really aren't conservative there. Especially the way they love red flag laws. More than Illinois.

Yeah, that worked here in Michigan. Gov Whitmer made sure the abortion ballot initiative lined up with her reelection in 2022. However, it passed and it isn't an issue now. She threw Biden under the bus for her own gain. Now no one will turnout for Biden.

Here in Wayne County (Detroit), the clerk's office does inkless fingerprinting when filing the application. There is no need to go to a police station or fingerprinting service to get it done. That starts the process and 45 day timeline. Most permits are back within two weeks.

Cost is $100 for the permit and $15 for the fingerprints. In theory, someone could go to a Sheriff or PD for the prints. However, I've never heard of it done. It's too convenient and the PD's charge just as much for prints. And the process is faster at the clerk's office.

In my over 20 years as an ER nurse, I've never had a patient get a D&C in the ER. They always went to surgery. Usually admit to observation and on-call to OR. Sometimes, to surgery first, then observation or home.

No. Trump was 36.5% in the Primary here in Michigan in 2016. He won Michigan in the General. All this shows is Republicans had stronger Primary challengers this year than Democrats had this year. Biden buried his weaker challengers. An easy task for an incumbent.

I'm sure you disagree. However, I thought Trump did well with the Abraham Accords and no new wars. Travel and trade started between Arab countries and Israel for the very first time. Neither Crimea nor Ukraine was attacked under Trump. It was relatively peaceful.
