💥I recently saw a short advertising an AI therapy site. A married couple was discontinuing treatment, leaving therapist distraught, in tears. Tho meant to be a parody, couple used the exact rationale given by Dr Shedler endlessly available, receptive, appreciative NOT therapy!
1/ AI stokes and feeds narcissism. It creates the illusion of a relationship where the other is endlessly available, endlessly receptive, endlessly appreciative, endlessly focused on us & our needs. Like all narcissistic illusion, it creates a shell of a person, empty at the core
