Marauding assailants armed with knives on a train & multiple casualties. Regardless of the motive when it emerges - & it looks like terrorism - British citizens are being *terrorised* by acts of extreme violence. A government that cannot deal with a safety crisis will not stand.

Ordinary people aren’t just *as* capable of deciding the fate of their nation as the elites, they are infinitely better at it. A point the Chartists used to make. The ‘asylum’ issue is only the latest example. The people were right, the elites were wrong. Again.
