If it takes a village to raise a child, I suspect it takes a globe to cultivate a 50-year-old former agronomist who decides to write a book about farming. Want to see how it's done and download a sample? https://t.co/Js9az2wKM7

On August 31, racist rallies will take to the streets. But the communities they target, the ones who feed us, build for us, welcome us, and enrich our lives, will feel it most. Here’s how you can help. 👇🏼

Blowing up your small-town writers festival because your local university needs to crack down on free speech because there’s a genocide we can’t talk about is so utterly on-brand for Australian culture. Cowards and fools 3-deep at the canapés tray

It’s one thing to get the rain. It’s another to convert it to grain or grass and yet another thing to collect and cash it in. Agronomists are busy providing advice right now. Timely execution of that advice is critical.

If you’re a neighbour to a #solar or wind farm - Settled Law means they created the risk (if you’ve covered your duty of care) so you don’t need extra insurance due to them moving in. Contact me for access to Claire Booth’s full presentation at the Renewables in Ag Conference

Is this how it feels when you nut out hard uncertain stuff like making the most of a late season, drought recovery, cost management & succession planning? If so the @VicGovAg adaptive planning workshops coming up at Rutherglen Dunkeld and Wonwondah could be just what you need.

We’ve been seeing stripe rust for a few weeks now but only very isolated. Looks to be a later developing year so far. Interested to hear if anyone else is seeing any in their travels. Scepter no fert or foliar fungicide in this pic @s_simpfendorfer
