It’s pretty telling that several former USC players are coming out and voicing displeasure with their program. You don’t see former Notre Dame players coming out and blaming theirs. It tells the real story.

Perhaps related, over the last 180 minutes of game play, USC has been in the lead for 9 minutes and 51 seconds. In those three seasons they had two offensive possessions while ahead.
Everything you need to know about the state of rivalry said here - SC can’t imagine a late season win that could jump them into the CFP, only a loss that would keep them out (they are going 8-4 next year even without ND on the schedule)
