Elmo, the great thing about specializing in something is you get to decide. I think you’ll be a great specialist in anything you end up choosing!
Mr. Stephen Nedoroscik, Elmo wants to be a specialist too! Elmo was thinking he could be the giggle specialist or maybe a monster-hug specialist. Elmo will keep thinking! #ParisOlympics

The athletes who compete in the most individual sports of all, love The Olympics, as they get to be in a team, a group, belonging to something, something special, as we all do. Even in a dramatically changing world, we still yearn to belong to a group, team, anything. That’s it

this resonated so much with me as a journalist. i genuinely don’t understand why so many of my peers ask such an inappropriate question when an athlete is feeling the height of emotion. we gotta do better at savouring success - more so given just what it takes to get there.

i loved the candour of this interview. to talk openly about how the occasion made her feel demonstrates an emotional maturity that is so striking for such a young athlete. she really is one to watch. #Paris2024 #Athletics

Love the sentiment of this. Wadey is a brilliant ambassador for @BipolarUK and his openness is refreshing.
Did a @talkSPORTLive where they asked me about my @eltonofficial walk-on music "I'm Still Standing". As well as liking the song I view it as a bit of a song of hope for people when they are struggling. I'm still here after 25 years of darts, but also after have a lot of dark days

This will be essential viewing. What Simone Biles is teaching us is too often forgotten; person first, athlete second. Rooting for her this summer so much.
She’s the greatest in the world. She’s also human. SIMONE BILES RISING, a Netflix Sports Series documenting one of the most powerful comebacks in history, premieres July 17.

"Because You Move Me" by the brilliant @tinlicker_nl 💚
Music can be a safe and supportive space to work through emotions, help us feel connected, and improve our mood. What song makes you feel hopeful, when going through a tough time?

Thanks @adam_peaty for such an honest & riveting interview about his comeback from burnout and a breakdown. The once unbeatable Olympic champion has learnt so much and he has a new psychological, emotion & physical equilibrium while trying to make history
