Not the finals I wanted. It’s been a hard year full of injury, recovery, and uphill battles preparing for competitions. I don’t see that as an excuse for my performances. Team USA trusted me and I didn’t do my job. Failure has always been my top motivation and I’m ready for 2023

I couldn’t have asked for a better group of guys to be surrounded by. Nothing was going right for me but through the support of my teammates I stayed positive the whole time. They made Japan feel like home and if it weren’t for their support I wouldn’t be where I am now

Since July 26th, I’ve hit every routine except one, which I attempted the first day I had a fever (October 7th). Even crazier, in that 91-day stretch I only did 15 routines, whereas I typically do 8 routines a week. This includes world trials and worlds.

The day before I was scheduled to leave. Day 5 with a fever and symptoms worsening. I couldn’t have gotten here without the help of the medical staff both at Penn State and National Team. They did everything for me to get here. I am forever grateful for their help.

Vault is very quick and super hard to judge.
Vault is also the apparatus that takes the least time.
It would be technologically simple to have a one-time replay for judges to review their deductions on vault.
