And the issue here is his parents weren't monitoring him, the hospital apparently doesn't monitor well enough, and he picked up a baby and ended up dropping it on the floor. Horribly sad situation for everyone, especially the 6 year old.

You shouldn't have to but I can not emphasize enough that you should be texting your landlord everything. If you talk to them in person send a text confirming what was talked about. Former tenants here had issues because they sent letters, I've had very few because texts.
Who gives a shit about small landlords? Small landlords are worse than big ones! At least the company that owns my building has an actual staff that can respond to issues quickly. Every time I've had a small landlord I've had to hound them relentlessly to get anything done!.

@GrumbleSquid Transwomen are abused as woman and abused as men, and abused as both in context of the other. C*swoman are not maligned as and called "disgusting f*ggts who need to man up" by their families growing up.
