You lost me on issue one and proved to me you don't know the first thing about Christ. Utterly shameful, worldly, profane, and Antichrist.

This is literally worse than the graffiti stickers at Canterbury. Church of England, please, offer people sacredness, truth, the Gospel of Jesus as Lord!

A majority of Anglicans don't agree with this bulls**t use of a place of worship! Cathedrals are for worshiping God, not for scrawling graffiti or playing mini-golf!

Hooker's great exposition of the Sacrament of the Lord's Body and Blood in Book V of the Laws is a defence of the eucharistic teaching of Zwingli and Oecolampadius.

If you think Zwingli's doctrine of the Lord's Supper was simply "we just remember Jesus's death" you are ngmi.

Also just kinda weird that graffiti somehow represents “marginalized communities” when most marginalized communities actually hate having their neighborhoods covered in graffiti and want clean, safe public spaces like everyone else.

The Church of England decided this week to cover the interior of the oldest cathedral in England in graffiti in order to represent the voices of “marginalised communities.” The Very Rev David Monteith, Dean of Canterbury, said: “There is a rawness which is magnified by the

Actually we are allowed to disapprove of what the Dean of Canterbury Cathedral is doing with the cathedral, be it graffitied basic questions about God that have readily available answers in scripture, or hosting a 90s themed silent rave in the nave. Disliking this doesn't make

@RevJaredJones I'm really not sure how, if you believed this, you could argue that children in 'unsupportive, unhealthy households' should be taken into care rather than just taken round the back and shot. https://t.co/2MFQuwcfLW

Things we DESPISE: this pastor saying that abortion "protects the life of children" because "there are so many children that were forced to be born" as a result of pro-life legislation, growing up in an "unsupportive, unhealthy household" which is a life "no child should live."

The absolute cognitive dissonance of believing this AND the inherent dignity of “marginalized communities” is borderline schitzophrenic

"anglicans are basically reformed" is a weirdly common take i guess that's why the scottish presbyterians and the english separatists and english puritans had such an easy time fitting in with the COE! because it was so reformed!

I had another person approach me in my personal life wanting to talk to me about the gospel. The Spirit is moving, y'all. That's five so far with two others routinely engaging even though they still don't consider it "for them". We can't remain silent! All I've done is openly

It is also taught that at all times there must be and remain one holy, Christian church. It is the assembly of all believers among whom the gospel is purely preached and the holy sacraments are administered according to the gospel. ~Augsburg Confession 7:1 (German Text)

On this day in 1536, William Tyndale was executed for translating the Bible into English. He was betrayed, arrested near Antwerp, and burned at the stake - his last words: “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.” Tyndale’s life’s work was to give ordinary Englishmen and women

I'm increasingly aware that one of the most misapplied teachings of Christ is his teachings about "he sets the prisoners free". The context of the old testament Jesus is referencing is not about violent criminals who murder and rape, nor is his own context aside from his mission

Once you see a Particular Baptist talking up Aquinas, creeds and confessions, traditions etc. start your timer until they turn a high churchman. I’ve seen this pattern too often.
