Dinner. She mirrored my every movement. If I took a bite, so did she. If I used my napkin, she followed suit. I eventually noticed, so I tested her by randomly sliding my drink from one end of the table to the other. Without skipping a beat...her drink slid across the table too.

What happened to all of that housing?
Evidently Cincinnati had the capacity to house 500k people. Why is there less housing today?
Seems like a fundamental flaw with how our city has operated during the past 7 decades.
503k people lived in Cincinnati in 1950.
385k in 1980.
309k now.
Our infrastructure and city services were built with a bigger city in mind. The capacity is there. We aren't full. Our zoning code makes us artificially capped. It's about time we reform it for a better city.

We're voting on one specific issue. It's about changing the processes for citizens to amend our state's constitution.

Since becoming a homeowner and business owner, I've grown much more weary of taxes.
The average person doesn't understand how much hard-earned money they never touch because it automatically flows toward the gov.
I'm pretty liberal overall. But taxes are getting out of control.
I think we need to have a conversation about hiw these huge property tax adjustments are going to effect those having hardship or just living with daily expenses. I’ve already had so many people talk to me about how freaked out they are about the value change

I lived there for 3 years. Got appointed to the CC board during that time.
Renters aren't necessarily "transient." And they can be invested in their communities.
