Thank you to @the3engineers and our guest storyteller for making World Book Day so special! Tavy Class loved reading "The Adventures of Scout: Stop Dropping Litter" and took their learning into action straight away with their own litter pick! ♻️🌍📚

🏊♀️Great to see @Thames21, @theriverstrust & @the3engineers at @HenleySwim last weekend, discussing all things river health!
Jack Beard, Thames21 Evidence Officer, did a riverfly sample on the river, which was a huge success with the kids! Check out some great photos of the day. 😊 #thames21 #henleyswimfestival #riverflymonitoring #citizenscience

It’s World Bee Day today 🐝🐝 To celebrate the day and our little friends we are giving a talk to schools and invite them to take part in creating an up-cycled bee hotel. Why don’t you give it a try with a youngster too. #worldbeeday

Boys have historically been encouraged to study STEM subjects more than girls. We believe that everyone should be encouraged to follow the career path that feels right for them, and we hope that our books can help encourage all kids to follow their dreams, no matter their gender.

How can you introduce STEM to kids? Start off small by simply pointing out STEM careers in books, films or shows they might enjoy, and talk about the things they have in common such as curiosity and problem-solving skills. Start up a conversation and see where it leads you!
