I have seen some wild hooks in college tennis. But I’ve never seen anything like this. Charles Courtreau of Radford called this ball out (even though it’s in the middle of the freaking court) because there’s no chair ump for this match. Luckily, the camera caught this.

What people who don’t actually play the sport don’t realize is just because you are practicing at a high intensity doesn’t mean you are match ready. Match fit is a lot more than just ripping balls up the middle. Rafa isn’t going to play the event if he thinks he can’t win it all.
Genuine question: are Rafa fans who went to Indian Wells to see him okay with this? . All that money and effort you spent and he withdrew only to start practising on clay. I just don’t understand what he is doing.

Very upset to hear the news about Andy Murray if true. he has been my favorite player as long as he has been on tour. Ive watched hours of film of him and even tried to play like him sometimes. This sport, the length of season, and it’s injuries are so unfair.

College tennis is less appealing now with the Atp/itf changes. But let’s compare it anyways. Zion will most likely be the number one over all pick and sign a rookie contract in the multi millions. I finished my senior year winning NCAAs and signed a contract worth $0.00.
