Most #privacy policies are uninformative and exploitative. A good privacy policy is one that informs you that none of your personal #data is being collected, stored, analyzed or shared. A good #tech product is one that shields you from data vultures. https://t.co/G4PFSs5lq3

1/ 🚹NEW REPORT 🚹 We’re excited to release our new investigation into ICE surveillance: https://t.co/LmKUeGEkAo. What did we find in two years of research on thousands of records? ICE surveillance is much broader than people realize–it’s an #AmericanDragnet.

Hypothesis: GDPR et al. have *increased* innovation by requiring better data protection and privacy. Loss of unaccountable privacy-invasive means is not a loss of innovation, but a loss of exploitation. And that is an *intended* consequence of such laws.
