There’s still time before inauguration. In his final days in office, Biden should terminate the program, order the deletion of profiles created through the program and the destruction of any genetic samples the government has stored. Read it here:

“Every person’s privacy, security and civil rights are implicated by this program, whether or not their own DNA ever ends up in the database…The only way to stand up for yourself in the face of mass genetic surveillance is to stand up for everyone else.”.

DNA is the most sensitive biometric. It can reveal your entire genetic makeup, biological sex + other physical traits, and disease risk. And critically, it shows relationships, which means a small sample from a population can create a broad web of surveillance.
